Absolutely loved this place! If you want a good mix of south East Asian food come here! Our favorites were the Cambodian dishes! It certainly felt very close to how Ma makes her food ❤️
My absolute favorite was the fried ginger garlic fish! The homemade sauce was savory and spicy! Delicious!
It is difficult to come across a place with much variation and for the food to be out of the kitchen quickly. Not only did WWNT pump out the food quickly, they even got the most important thing down and that was the quality👌. The appetizers were crunchy and good, the hot and sour soup is what it actually is and that is sour. And the main entree, the sweet and sour chicken tasted just like the smell. Overall amazing experience and the total for all of the food was $58 gross. This place reminds me of treasure pot in Arvada. Very similar quality and very delicious. The ratings speak for themselves.
I was pretty skeptical that a restaurant called "Woody's Wings N Things" could serve good SE Asian food but I was pleasantly surprised! We had the crispy fish with lime sauce, crispy pork and watercress, and Thai style shrimp fried rice. Everything was excellent. I grew up in a Thai family and have been to Thailand several times, and the food was pretty on point. Highly recommended!
I was craving for Southeast Asian food and hear great things about this place. Food was so delicious! Worth the drive!
Don’t mind the interior and exterior because it looks dingy and sketchy, but you know that’s the type of vibes where the food will be good!
Great portion sizes!
Only thing not on the menu is prices 🤷🏻♂️ so you may have to ask if you’re curious.
I took my friend here for her birthday lunch after reading about this strip mall restaurant in an article called “38 essential restaurants in Denver” because it was near where she lived.
I believe my friend ordered Singapore noodle bowl. It was really good. It tasted to me like a combination Vietnamese noodle bowl to me except it was made with a different type of noodle.
I ordered 2 orders of the Asian styled wings (one for each of us) and loved them! The sauce on them tasted a lot of the sweet peanuty Thai “Satay” but a little spicier & with whole peanuts. And the wings were crispy on the outside and moist on inside like a wing should be!
I also ordered the also the dish “Duck Larb” too. I haven’t eaten it before by this name before but have had many similar dishes. I think it’s a Thai dish. I liked it a lot. It was spicy but not too “hot” spicy which is right for this dish served cold with slices of raw cabbage (rather than in lettuce cups as I’ve had similar dishes at other restaurants).
And I ordered the Ginger Fish - a whole crispy deep-fried catfish with a gingery sauce over it and lots of vegetables. At the restaurant, I didn’t like the ginger sauce taste too much, but I grew to like it a lot after I took it home and ate it by itself when it was not competing with the sweeter Asian sauces on other dishes.
We ordered way too much food for 2 people a whole bunch of dishes I wanted to try we made a lunch for 3 out of the leftovers - with still enough from that for me to have another meal.
And I grew to like the ginger fish dish more and more until we finally finished that whole deep-fried fish. I determined the type of fish was a catfish!
Ordering was overwhelming. Neither of us could really use their 1 inch binder menu. It was all photos of the dish and dish’s name. No description of the dish, no price given so didn’t know the country of origin of the menu items which could have been Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese Laotian or Malaysian. But looking at the photos of was fun.
I was pleasantly surprised by the tab. It was ~ $90 for these 5 entrees plus rice.
What a peculiar restaurant - definitely felt like we stepped into a restaurant from the 1900s! The menu is expansive and very confusing but there were so many happy diners in there that we were very enthusiastic to try the food. We had
To ask the server what they recommended and we enjoyed our dishes - a beef stir fry, Singapore noodles, and a chilled shrimp salad.
I have been here probably 5 or 6 times now, because it’s so good and I also happen to live close by. The lemongrass wings, Thai crispy wings, fried dumplings, and the egg drop soup have been my favorite things there so far but I don’t know that you could order something bad. The place is always busy when I get there so that’s usually a good indicator. I mostly get carry out but have eaten for dining a couple times too and it’s just always great.
…I will say if you’re an orange/sesame chicken and egg roll type, you might be better suited elsewhere. The complexity, authenticity, and uniqueness of this place will probably be lost on you.
Came here just for the wings, as the name suggests. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a selection of wings by the lb with regular sauces like bbq and a range of buffalo heat levels. I got the extra hot, which had a decent spice but not over the top. I was impressed by the amount of sauce they included with the wings. Also, the sauce seems home made as well, which was a plus. I also got an order of the Szechuan wings, which were a little less impressive. They are essentially a sweet Asian style BBQ with some red pepper flakes. Good flavor, but not what I was expecting. Looking forward to going back and trying a few different flavors, and maybe something more traditional off the expansive menu.
